Funraising Tours sets up long distance charity bike rides and assists charitable organisations to meet their objectives.  This includes helping with fundraising, publicity and other relevant activities.

In the past, the company has organised and conducted charity cycle rides such as Rome to the Dome (twice), Brands Hatch to Monaco, and assisted with Murrayfield to Twickenham for Royal Bank of Scotland.  In 2023 Funraising Tours organised and ran The Transplant Tour, a 500-mile, six day ride starting in Edinburgh and ending in Oxford on behalf of Give a Kidney.

 

Following the success of this inaugural event, the company planned to rerun Transplant Tour, taking in another six of the UK's transplant centres but regrettably we were unable to recruit enough riders to make the event viable.  Reluctantly the decision has been taken to fold the company and with it, the web site will also disappear in July 2025.
